Central JV overcomes THS JV

The Thomas County Central JV football team took down the Thomasville JV team 16-8.
The Jackets overcame an eight-point first quarter deficit to score the game’s final 16 points.
The defensive line led the way for the Jackets Latrell Perkins had five tackles (two sacks), Marcus Christian had three tackles and one sack, Gabe Harris had four tackles and Fisher Clements added three tackles and one sack. Hunter Smith and Roy Smith each added four tackles apiece respectively. Al’Marion Thomas had an interception that led to a score to end the game.
Offensively, quarterback Adam Hopkins led the Yellow Jackets with two rushing touchdowns. Jamius Hightower, playing both quarterback and running back, was the leading rusher with 67 yards. Quincy Clark and Trey Huewitt led the way at wide receiver making several plays in the Yellow Jacket win.
