Through the Atlanta Braves Foundation 50/50 Raffle, fans at Braves home games on April 13 and 14 were able to walk away with significant cash prizes. The winners received half of the net proceeds from the game’s raffle ticket sales that day, with the other half benefiting the Braves Foundation.

Through the Braves Foundation, 50 percent of the $23,500 raised from the raffle was donated to the Boys & Girls Club.

“We would like to thank the entire Atlanta Braves organization for their kindness and generosity towards our club and community,” Francis said in a statement. “The relationship that is being built between the Atlanta Braves and our Jackie Robinson Boys & Girls Club is certainly life changing.”

The Braves hosted the Boys & Girls Club on April 13 for a game against the New York Mets as part of Major League Baseball’s Jackie Robinson Day weekend celebration.

Boys & Girls Club children met staff, toured baseball facilities and took part in activities before watching the Braves defeat the Mets 11-7.
