The City of Thomasville's Stationary to be used for internal and electronic(e-mail or web-based communications) use

THOMASVILLE — The City of Thomasville’s Municipal Auditorium will be undergoing some necessary maintenance beginning on August 28 until September 4.

The repairs being completed will require access to the building’s roof. In order to complete the repairs, heavy equipment and materials will be staged on a portion of Crawford Street.

For the safety of the community and those working, there will be a partial lane closure in the area of Crawford Street and Jackson Street from August 28 until the work is completed between the hours of 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. The target completion date for these repairs is September 4.

During this time, the west side of the street will be closed. The east side, north bound from Remington Avenue to East Jackson Street, will remain open. Drivers in the area are encouraged to exercise caution and prepare for potential traffic delays.

Workers will be on site to help guide vehicular and pedestrian traffic, and signs will be in place for any necessary detours.
