THOMASVILLE — The City of Thomasville administrative offices will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. 

As a result, some city services will be affected. City services’ schedules are as follows: 

Utilities Response Center

Regular, 24-hour operational schedule. 

City of Thomasville residential refuse

Monday residential customers will be collected on Tuesday, September 3. Tuesday residential customers will be collected on Wednesday, September 4. Normal collection schedules will resume Thursday, September 5. 

Thomas County residential refuse

Thomas County residential customers will remain on their regular collection schedule. 

Coolidge residential refuse

Coolidge customers will remain on their regular collection schedule. 

Yard trash

There will be no yard trash collection on Monday, September 2. As yard trash collections have no specific day assigned to any one residence or street, this will not affect the collection of any resident’s yard trash. 

Commercial refuse

There will be no change to commercial customers’ collection schedule.

Country Oaks Golf Course

Country Oaks will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, September 2. Tee times are recommended. Holiday rates apply. 

Municipal Airport

The Municipal Airport will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2019. 

Landfill

The Landfill will be open for normal hours of operation Monday, September 2, 2019, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
