Brookwood welcomes 500 students on opening day

THOMASVILLE — For the second time in its 50-year history, Brookwood welcomed 500 students on the first day of the 2019-20 school year.
Brookwood students hail from Brooks, Colquitt, Daughtery, Decatur, Grady, Mitchell and Thomas counties in Georgia, and Leon and Jefferson counties in Florida. Bus routes run from Colquitt, Grady and Brooks counties.
At Brookwood, students from 4 years of age through the 12th grade are challenged and nurtured so that they are poised to succeed in college and beyond. The 50th year is off to a great start.
