Revival

St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church is holding revival at 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday. The speaker is the Rev. O. Quintod Bryant of Plains.

The church is located on Hwy. 319 north and the Rev. Andrew Anderson is the pastor.

Anniversaries

Mt. Olive P.B. Church members will celebrate their Senior and Junior Usher Boards anniversaries at 3 p.m., Sunday. The Rev. Carl Washington and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will be in charge of the service.

Celebration

First Unity Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating its 50th church anniversary, 11 a.m., Sunday, August 3. Church pastor the Rev. Charlie Ross will preach the anniversary sermon. Dinner will be served afterwards.

Program

First Missionary Baptist Church members are celebrating the chancel choir’s 56th anniversary with a back to school prayer vigil. The event features Quinton Spivey and the Moving Forward Choir, Chris Jackson and Singers, YAC, Ivory and Rayna Lucas, Cheribum, Chancel, Charm Singers and the Recording Choir and Faculty Chorale. It begins at 5 p.m., Sunday at the church.

Service

Elder Annie Abrams of Columbus is the featured speaker at 11 a.m., Sunday at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m.

Event

An appreciation celebration for the Rev. T.C. Mitchell and his wife will be held at 6 p.m., Aug. 10 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 3212 Parramore Fish Pond Rd., Boston. He will be honored for his years of service to Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. It is open to the public, according to chairman the Rev. Norman Clary.
