Suwannee River Jam is underway

LIVE OAK, FLA. —The waiting is over as the 28th Annual Suwannee River Jam (SRJ), the South’s Country Music and Camping Festiva, is finally here through May 4. Held at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Fla., you know what this means —Hank Williams Jr., Trace Adkins, Clint Black, Chase Rice, Gretchen Wilson, Craig Campbell, Frankie Ballard, A Thousand Horses, Uncle Kracker and Brian Callihan will be here. These spectacular country artists are expected to bring some of the best country music ever on two different stages during this fabulous weekend!
In addition, there is the U.S. Air Force Max Impact Band with the SOSMP’s very own former artist Technical Sgt. Nalani Quintello as that band’s lead female singer. There are also the awesome Suwannee River Jam (SRJ) audition winners who will perform on the Amphitheater and Music Hall Stages at the SOSMP to include The Suwannee Sweethearts Trio with Katie O (13, of Jacksonville), Sadie Miller (11, of Branford) and Brooke Spencer (10, of St. Johns); Austin Park Band (Jacksonville), Creekside Band (Pierson, Ga.), Doc Adams Band (Dixie & Levy counties), Diamond Dixie Band (Orlando), Dylan Gerard and his band (Jacksonville), Fat Tractor Band (Tampa), Justin Spivey Band (Axton, Ga.), Michael Miller Band (Tallahassee), Savannah Faith Band (Corbin, Kentucky) and Southern Burn Band (Gainesville); solo artists Brandon Adams (Saint Augustine), Cheyenne Graft (O’Brien), Godiva (Jacksonville), Macey Mac (Ocala), Nolan Hamm (Bushnell), Samuel Herb (Nashville, Tenn.), Sarah Trimm (Live Oak) and a duo of Stephen Quinn and Gabe Ballard (Jacksonville).

The SRJ brings all these marvelous artists for you to enjoy their country music, along with golf cart rentals, late night campfire concerts, a huge amount of food and merchandise vendors, barbecues and more exploring the 800-plus acres of the SOSMP.

Thursday, May 2, Brandon Adams will open for Brian Callihan, Frankie Ballard and Chase Rice on the 1st Street Music Stage beginning at 7 p.m. followed at midnight by Southern Burn Band and a Daisy Duke Style Contest in the Music Hall.
Friday, May 3, the day kicks off at 3 p.m. on 1st Street Music Stage with Doc Adams Band, followed by Brandon Adams, Macey Mac, Stephen Quinn and Gabe Ballard, Dylan Gerard Band, Diamond Dixie Band and Justin Spivey Band. The Main Stage opens at 6:30 p.m. with Craig Campbell, Clint Black and Trace Adkins! Music Hall Stage opens at midnight with Doc Adams Band.
Saturday, May 4, this wonderful country music festival opens with Nolan Hamm at 1 p.m. on the 1st Street Music Stage followed by Daisy Duke Semi-Finals, Savannah Faith Band, Suwannee Sweethearts (see above) Trio who will perform together and in solos and duos, Godiva, Lyndie Burris Knowles, Daisy Duke Finals, Austin Park Band and closes with Uncle Kracker. The Main Stage gets underway at 4:30 p.m. with the patriotic Armed Forces Tribute followed by The U.S. Air Force Max Impact Band, A Thousand Horses, Gretchen Wilson and then the legendary Hank Williams Jr. takes the stage for what is expected to be a spectacular performance. The Music Hall opens at midnight with the closing event featuring Savannah Faith Band.
