A recent event at Thomas County Central High School celebrated senior Leila Hurst’s appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. Hurst will play softball at the school. Although there was no signing ceremony to play ball at West Point, Hurst’s accomplishments were celebrated at TCCHS.
