THOMASVILLE, Ga. — Thomas University senior Chance Carter has earned Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.

Carter, from Wakulla, Fla., held No. 4 Georgia Gwinnett College scoreless for seven innings, allowing only four hits while walking three and striking out three.

It was his third win of 2019, which is tied for the team lead. This season, he has collected 16 strikeouts in 30 1/3 innings.

Carter and the Night Hawks return to the field this weekend, facing No. 10 St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Fla., March 15-16.
