Thomasville City Schools students from Harper, Jerger and Scott elementary schools will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the outdoors when GATES (Gifted and Talented Education Services) students travel to St. Simons Island in February 2019 to the Driftwood Education Center. There they will spend three days and two nights engaged in planned activities of a coastal classroom. The trip was made possible for some students by a generous donation by Ameris Bank
