TIFTON — Plough Gallery will host the “Two Story” exhibit with an opening reception Dec. 15.
“Two Story” explores the domesticated and artistic relationship between married artists Steven S. Walker and Evelyn Davis-Walker. Intentionally named “story” instead of “stories,” the Walkers wish their audience to experience this show as a glimpse of home-life rather than two separate artist narratives.

The now married artists met at Marywood University in Pennsylvania while both pursuing their own masters degrees. They are now both local artists of South Georgia and create art both individually and as collaborations. Steven’s intense oil nightscapes are paired with Evelyn’s playful mixed media works.
As married artists their process often involves collaborating on ideation, color theory, composition, and other visual cues.
Evelyn Davis-Walker and Plough Gallery co-owner Mark Errol are both art professors at Valdosta State University.
The Opening Reception of “Two Story” is from 5-7 p.m. at Plough Gallery. The artists will be present to discuss their work. The reception and exhibit is free and open to the public, and the show will be on display for approximately a month.
