Terry remained at Archbold Memorial Hospital on Monday, he said.

On Thursday Colquitt Regional Medical Center notified police that a man with a gunshot wound had been brought there for treatment of a gunshot wound.

Vandy Palmore told police that he was sitting outside Shy Manor apartments at 835 Shy Manor Drive when he was shot.

“He felt a pain in his foot and realized he had been shot,” police Sgt. Eric Hill said.

Palmore was taken to the hospital by private vehicle, he said.
