TIFTON — A $5,000 trailer was stolen from a construction site at the end of July, according to a Tifton Police Department report.

Between July 27 and July 30 in the 100 block of Virginia Avenue South, a yellow 2014 Big Tex dump trailer valued at $5,000 was stolen, according to the report.

The trailer was taken from a construction site over that weekend, the report states.

The case is active pending further investigation, according to the report.
