ALAPAHA — Berrien County Sheriff Ray Paulk has confirmed one person was killed after a shooting in Berrien County, according to our news partners at WALB.

It happened in the 1300 block of Highway 158 in Alapaha.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Douglas Office has taken over the investigation, WALB reports.

Berrien County EMS also said it was called to the scene.

There has been no word on who was involved in the shooting.
