The suspect was located Tuesday and allegedly admitted to investigators to using the stolen credit card as well as providing information about the numerous burglaries committed throughout the City of Live Oak as well as the county, according to the SCSO release.

Mooney, 46 and from Live Oak, was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and dealing in stolen property.

A SCSO deputy stopped 44-year-old John Anthony Collier, of Live Oak, on Wednesday and during a search of the vehicle discovered stolen items from three of the previously reported vehicle burglaries, according to the release.

Collier was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property (15 counts) as well as fraud-fake ownership information during a pawn transaction (15 counts) for a previous case he was a suspect in. Collier is also currently on felony probation for burglary and grand theft.

The SCSO said numerous felony charges from this investigation are still pending.

The release also states that during further interviews with the suspects, it was discovered that many of the stolen items, which include handguns, GPS devices, tablet computers, Bluetooth headsets, watches and cell phones were give to Chester Chaires in exchange for crack cocaine.

The SCSO then executed a search warrant Thursday in the 900 block of Brown Street in Live Oak with the assistance of the Suwannee County SWAT team.

The release states that during the search, stolen property was recovered as well as drug paraphernalia.

Chaires, a 47-year-old from Live Oak, was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property. He is also currently on felony probation for the sale of cocaine.
