On May 9, Tifton mayor Julie Smith signed an proclamation for National Nurses’ Week.

TIFTON—Tift Regional Health System saluted its more than 875 nurses during National Nurses’ Week, held May 6-12.  On May 7, a nurses’ celebration lunch was held at Cook Medical Center (CMC) in Adel.  

Mayor Buddy Duke of Adel read and signed an official mayoral proclamation.

 On May 9, a nurses’ celebration breakfast was held in Tifton at Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC).  Tifton mayor Julie Smith read and signed an official mayoral proclamation as well.  

The celebration also included career day school tours for 5th and 8th graders at TRMC on May 9.
