TIFTON — A much deserved vacation is coming Tift County’s way and their last games before spring break were perfect for the soccer teams.

The Lady Devils defeated Cairo, 6-0, and the Blue Devils won a 2-0 victory over the Syrupmakers.

Maggie Clark scored twice for Tift County, said head coach Zac Martin, with one goal each coming from Emma Choate, Lupe Osorio, Brooke Smith and Nayelly Balderas.

Devils’ head coach Bobby Earls said his goals were by Richey Hernandez and C.J. Copeland, Copeland’s was on a header, he said.

Tift’s next varsity games will be April 10 against Thomas County Central. Martin said the event will double as Senior Night.
