TIFTON — First Community Bank of Tifton, a division of Synovus Bank, announced the appointment of Chris Dorman to its Tifton Advisory Board. Dorman is president and CEO of Tift Regional Health System.

Dorman joined Tift Regional in 2013 as a senior vice president and chief operating officer and was promoted to president and CEO in October 2017.

 He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and serves on the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Secure Health Board of Directors, Stratus Health Board of Directors, and the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals Board of Directors.

Dorman holds a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in management and leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in business from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
