Police have not identified a suspect, according to KGW.
Vincent moved to Tifton in 2011, when his older brother, Michael Trevino, a Marine recruiter, was stationed here.
“My brother and my mother were living with me at the time I got orders, so I brought them with me,” said Michael.
Vincent was a Tift County High student until 2014, when Michael was stationed elsewhere and Vincent moved with him.
Last year, Vincent moved to Tifton, before moving to Vancouver in October 2017 to be closer to his two young sons, according to Michael.
Vincent’s family is working on having his body transferred to Tifton, where they want to bury him.

Michael is currently stationed in Statesboro and plans to retire here with his wife and five children.
The family is accepting donations to transport Vincent’s remains back to Tifton through a Paypal Money Pool account.
“These funds are being used to bring Vinnie home and put him to rest,” said Michael, in a press release. “Any addition[al] funds received after services are paid for will go directly to his two small children.”
