Cross Creek Elementary recently held a school-wide spelling bee. Thomas Buwa was first-place in third-grade and Christopher Owens placed second. Fourth-grade winners were Tristan Davis, who won first place, and Taylor Johnson, second place. The third place winner for fourth grade was Haiden Rehberg. The fourth-graders will compete in the Thomas County Spelling Bee in January.
