Presented by the Thomas County Public Library, Enlightening Bites for Friday will be provided by the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation (TEF). They will present The Ronan Cowan quartet, a collective of four up and coming jazz musicians currently at Florida State University.

The group includes Evan Hamrick (bass), Mason Margut (piano), Jordan Kirkendoll (saxophone) and is led by drummer Ronan Cowan. They have worked with other accomplished musicians such as Marcus Roberts, Jason Marsalis, Herlin Riley and Rodney Jordan and have performed at many venues in Tallahassee including B Sharps Jazz Club, Club Downunder and Black Dog on The Square.

“We strive to create music that is soulful and enjoyable to all,” Cowan said.

Make plans to attend Friday at noon in the Flipper Room of the library for an afternoon of music.
