Architect to lead discussion of Colquitt County Courthouse

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Love architecture? Love history? Want to know more about Colquitt County’s beautiful courthouse?
Architect David J. Hill will lead an informal discussion about the development of the courthouse and the history of Colquitt County at the Moultrie Library, Tuesday, October 3 at 6:30.
There will be pictures and documents relating to the courthouse. You are invited to share your memories and take part in this discussion.
Hill began his architectural experience in 1972 while working for several architectural firms in California, Georgia and Florida. He has been a registered architect since 1981.
His project experience includes planning and urban design for downtown revitalization projects and architecture in Cairo and Thomasville for specific facilities such as community public buildings and multiphase community college facilities. He has been the architect of record for custom single family, multifamily, health, commercial, educational, and public facilities. Hill’s most recent courthouse project is the Colquitt County Courthouse rehabilitation in Moultrie.
