The Friends of Lost Creek Forest will host the fourth annual Cherokee Pollinator Festival on Sunday, October 1 from 2-4 p.m.
You will have the chance to see butterflies, caterpillars, chrysalises, bees and other pollinators on a variety of native plants. Attendees can learn about wildlife, the butterfly life cycle and other pollinators.
Children’s activities will include monarch butterfly and caterpillar releases, face painting and coloring sheets. Full Moon Apiary from Monticello will be on hand with a demonstration hive. Cherokee Pollinator Garden is located adjacent to the Thomasville Rose Garden on Covington Avenue.
