BOSTON — Tune up your favorite broom, find your pointy hat and pointy-toe slippers to complete your witch costume and fly over to Boston on Thursday for the fifth annual Witches Night Out — the perfect venue for a fun-filled evening.

Festivities are from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Boston. 

Special events include a costume contest at 7:30. The grand prize is cash and gift certificates from participating merchants.

Tickets for a 50/50 raffle are available in stores. The winner will be drawn at 8:30.

The deejay set up on Main Street will play appropriate music to provide the background for a chilling evening.

Wear a witch hat to receive a special discount at most merchants. All Boston retail businesses and restaurants will be open.

Witches Night Out is sponsored by the Boston Business Association (BBA).
