Bell Plantation hosts National Guard

TIFTON — Bell Plantation opened up its 40,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Tifton to serve as a staging area for some 900 National Guardsmen deployed in advance of Hurricane Irma recovery and aid operations, according to a press release.
The warehouse was used as a base of operations, providing Guardsmen with wi-fi service and facilities for resting and recuperating between shifts.
“I couldn’t be prouder to be helping in this way,” said Kathy Anderson with Bell Plantation.
“Bell Plantation is proud to support our community and our troops,” said company founder J.C. Bell. “We are here for our neighbors.”
