THOMASVILLE — Four former Thomasville football players have been honored for an act of service to the community.

Tori Sapp, Johnny Young, Willie Bradshaw and Kentarius Franklin were presented with resolutions for bravery and heroism by the Thomasville City School board on Tuesday.

The group of players were gathered in a house, when they heard some commotion coming from the outside.

On the street, an individual was trapped under a car, and the group went out to help, eventually freeing her.

“We picked it up and got her out of there,” Bradshaw said.
