The Thomas County Public Library System will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, for Independence Day. We will reopen with regular hours on Wednesday, July 5.
VRP Reading logs for all ages are due July 10.
Movie Night on Tuesday, July 18 at 5 p.m. Enjoy a brand new movie and some popcorn in the Flipper Room.
Adult Coloring Club is back on the second and fourth Friday of each month at 10 a.m. Join us on July 14 and 28.
“We’re Bookin’ It” will meet at the library on Monday, July 10, at 5 p.m. in the Conference Room. Visitors and new members are always welcome. “H is for Hawk” by Helen MacDonald will be discussed.

• Thursday, June 29 from 2 to 4 p.m.: Police car and firetruck demo (for all ages) — Check out the Thomasville City Police cars and firetruck. They will be in the parking lot in front of the library. (for all ages)
• Friday, June 30 at noon: Magic Show with “The Amazing Ziggy” for teens and adults.
• For the month of July, check out our bulletin board for the 31 Day Challenge. Hang out with us on Tuesday, between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., for challenge help and snacks.

• Monday, June 26 from 10 to 11 a.m. — Crafts — Put your creative pants on and join us in the storyroom for a “what can you make” craft! We will have a plethora of craft supplies. How creative are you? Ages 4-11 (Storyroom)
• Wednesday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. — Ziggy’s Comedy Magic and Juggling Show is a high-energy action packed show with tons of audience participation and appropriate for all age ranges. Even the adults will love the show. All ages in the Flipper Room.

• Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.: Children’s Program “Reach Out and Touch Something!” We will explore texture and its use in art and learning as we read some great books, play some games, and enjoy an art activity.
• Thursday from 11 to noon: Ziggy the Magician! For all ages.
Coolidge:
• Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m.: Construction-Themed word find Search Contest. For adults. Come have fun and exercise your brain at the same time. Be the first to finish finding all the words on the word find and win a prize.
• Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Ziggy the Magician! For all ages.
• Monday, July 3 and Wednesday July 5 from 3 to 5 p.m.: Movie: For kids/teens. Come watch an entertaining movie, munch on popcorn and have a cool drink.
