Hortman-McMullen

Gabrielle Hortman became the bride of Lee McMullen in a ceremony performed May 6, 2017, at Sundown Farms Plantation in Moultrie.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hortman of Coolidge and the groom is the son of Mrs. Elaine Hall McMullen Hurst of Meigs and William Paul McMullen formerly of Thomasville.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Thomas County Central High School and a 2016 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of arts in theatre performance. She is a theatre teacher/director at Thomas County Central High School.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Thomas County Central High School and a 2016 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in information technology. He is a tech analyst at Archbold Medical Center.

David Durden officiated the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Matron of honor was Holly McMullen of Thomasville.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Mead of Thomasville, Meg Long of Pavo, Jennifer Wallace of LaGrange, Heather Hortman of Ambrose, Scarlett Eirish of Tifton and Kenna Rodgers of Thomasville.

Flower girls were Madison McCoy and Kaylee McCoy both of Ochlocknee.

Ring bearers were Rex Wallace of LaGrange, Landen McMullen of Thomasville, 

Cogsworth McMullen of Thomasville and Reece Wallace of LaGrange.

Best man was Paul McMullen of Thomasville. Groomsmen were Jeff Hill of Valdosta, Jesse Shearer of Barwick, Greg Long of Pavo, Garret Hortman of Ambrose, Matthew McMullen of Thomasville and Huntley Rodgers of Thomasville.

Music was provided by Jonathan Handley of Fitzgerald.

The couple will reside in Thomasville.
