• The South Georgia Genealogy Society will meet on Saturday, June 10 in the Flipper Room of the Thomas County Public Library. • The Parents Advocacy meeting will be held on Mondays, 6 p.m., at the Frederick Douglass Complex Library. All who have a vested interest in the Thomasville City Schools system and taxpayers are encouraged to attend.

• The Rose City Aeromodelers group has contracted with the City of Thomasville to supervise a model airport at the Thomasville Municipal Airport and a chartered club under the auspices of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
