MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — A Milledgeville man was wounded in a shooting outside a local bowling alley early Sunday.

As of Monday afternoon, no one reportedly had been arrested in connection with the crime.

The victim was identified as Kino Water, of Lake Drive, according to an incident report filed by an officer with the Milledgeville Police Department.

The victim was taken to the emergency room of Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville where he was treated and later released.

The police officer that initially responded to the call said in his report that he was dispatched to the business shortly after midnight to assist with crowd control and shots fired. The business is located at 184 Roberson Mill Road.

The shooting remains under investigation.
