• 10:30 a.m. — The Sawyer Dementia Support Group will meet at Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, 220 Park Ave., Thomasville. Refreshments will be provided by Hospice of Southwest Georgia. • 5:45 p.m. — Early bird Bingo games, sponsored by the Kouncil Club of Thomasville, are at St. Augustine Catholic Church social hall. Regular Bingo sessions begin at 6:45. Prizes awarded and proceeds go to local charities of southwest Georgia.

• Members of John B. Gordon Chapter 383 United Daughters of the Confederacy will observe their 143rd Confederate Memorial Day at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 1 at First United Methodist Church Chapel. Veterans of all wars will be honored. The public is invited, members said. UDC Medals of Military Service Awards and certificates will be presented to several local veterans. This is the highest award the UDC presents.

• Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe Spring Show is a group of talented singing teen entertainers from area high schools across southwest Georgia.
