Dr. and Mrs. Jim Story, co-directors of the Rose City Run events, have announced the 40th annual Rose City 10K Run is at 8 a.m., Saturday, April 29. The 38th annual Rose City One Mile Run for children 12 and under will be held at 9:30 a.m., April 29.

At 8:30 a.m., April 22, the Saturday preceding the run events, the 36th annual Rose City 5K Walk will be held. Last year there were 1,400 participants to enter the Rose City Run events.

Applications for this year’s events will appear in a brochure that will be inserted in the Tuesday, Jan. 31 edition of the Thomasville Times-Enterprise.
