Man charged with kidnapping woman

William George Naylor was charged with kidnapping a woman.

WHITE SPRINGS, Fla. — A White Springs man was arrested for kidnapping a woman, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the HCSO, a deputy was dispatched to 10315 SE 141st Boulevard on Dec. 22 in regards to reckless driving in the campsite behind Rooster’s Outfitters.

The deputy located the vehicle and found a woman laying in the passenger side floor board.

The woman stated William George Naylor, 36, of White Springs, had been driving the truck but did not know where he was, according to the report.

The report states the woman’s left eye was swollen shut and purple in color. She also had various bruising all over her body.

In the report, the woman stated Naylor locked her in her residence for approximately three days and he struck her with various items including fists and straps.

According to the report, Naylor was found inside the woman’s camper asleep. When deputies took Naylor into custody, he began kicking and yelling.

The report states when Naylor sat down inside the patrol vehicle, he refused to place his feet inside.

The report states when the deputy attempted to place Naylor’s feet inside the vehicle, Naylor kicked the deputy multiple times in the chest and shin. 

At this time, a deputy used a chemical agent to gain compliance, according to the report.

Naylor was charged with kidnapping/false imprisonment, resisting officer with violence, aggravated battery with great bodily harm and battery on law enforcement officer.
