BOSTON — A Greenville, Florida, man recalls leaving his home with a Thomasville woman and traveling to Quitman, but he does not know how he wound up in Boston, according to authorities.

John Christian was found badly beaten lying on a Boston street during the weekend.

An investigation is under way into the beating and where it occurred.

Christian suffered a brain bleed and is in the Archbold Memorial Hospital intensive care unit, according to Lt. Tim Watkins, Thomas County Sheriff’s Office chief investigator.
