Dr. Gerald Neil and Mrs. Vivian Tuggle Kadis of Thomasville announce the engagement of their daughter, Winer Merritt Kadis of Thomasville, to John Douglas Potts Jr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. John Bernard and Mrs. Betty June Reneau Tuggle of Cairo and Mr. Martin Victor and Mrs. Charlotte Pearl Promboin Kadis of Brookline, Massachusetts.

She is a 2008 graduate of Brookwood School and a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received a Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design degree. 

She is employed at Winnie Couture` Flagship Bridal Salon, Bridal Stylist.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Stephanie Ann Bruser and Mr. John Douglas Potts Sr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Mrs. Elizabeth Augusta Bruser and the late Mr. Henry Bernard Bruser.

He is a 2007 graduate of Episcopal High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Georgia where he received a B.S.ED Sports Management degree.

He is employed by Global Employment Solutions, Account Executive

The wedding is at 6 p.m., October 22, 2016 in the ballroom of The Business Exchange with the reception to follow at Pineywoods Farm.
