What is heaven like?

Undoubtedly, this is a question about which all believers think.

The Bible gives us a glimpse of heaven but I am persuaded there is so much more than we imagine.

To be sure, heaven is the eternal home of Jesus. We will be with Him and He will know us.

The mysteries of our earthly pilgrimage will be revealed and we will understand the way God has led us into His presence.

According to Scripture, heaven will not have the heartaches and hardships of our earthly existence.

In heaven, there will not be different classes of people. We will all be one happy family.

All I can glean from the Bible tells me heaven will be beautiful beyond my imagination.

If earth is God’s footstool and heaven is His throne, there is incomparable beauty in that land.

Yes, there will be music that is more thrilling than the sweetest anthem on earth.

The voices of the angels will swell in a mighty chorus of praise and adoration of the Lord Jesus.

I’m excited to know, we will have the privilege of serving Christ. I don’t know what service we will render but John wrote in Revelation, “His servants will serve Him.” (Rev. 22:3b).

In Heaven, time will be no more.

We won’t live by the clock or calendar.

Eternity is timeless and our spiritual bodies will never wear out or be sick.

Heaven will be a glorious reunion of all who have gone before or will come after we enter into Jesus’ presence.

Yes, we will know our families and friends but our relationships will be far superior to anything we have known on earth.

In Heaven, everything and everybody will be perfect.

If you are already a Christian, you do not have to be concerned about where you will spend eternity.

It is settled. I would say to any non-believer, “Why take a chance?”

You have everything to lose in rejecting Jesus as your savior. You have Heaven to gain by believing in faith, His gift of eternal life in heaven.
