Services for Jessie David Lairsey Sr., of Thomasville, are at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Rose City Church of God, with Pastor Gerald Horne officiating. Mr. Lairsey died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at his residence. A son of the late Thomas William Lairsey Sr. and Annie Lee Owens, Mr. Lairsey was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Moultrie. A painter, he was married to the later Shirley Arnold Lairsey. He is survived by son, David Lairsey Jr., Thomasville; daughter, Teresa Lairsey, Dothan, Alabama; son, Jamie Lairsey, Tallahassee, Florida; sister, Reba Law, Thomasville; brothers, Thomas William Lairsey Jr., Albany, Tommy Jackie Lairsey, Mesquite, Texas; sister, Brenda Lee Floyd, Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
