Our 2016 Vacation Reading Program is coming soon. “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” is our awesome theme! Registration begins this Monday, for all ages. The first 50 adults to register will get a free tote bag. Remember to pick up your Tic-Tac-Toe Reading sheet (for Adults), Reading Log or BINGO card (for Teens), and Reading Log (for Children) once registration begins. Reading could win you some awesome prizes!
On Friday, June 3, at noon, don’t miss our first Adult VRP event as Andrew Sawyer and Danny Dukes present Locally Grown Produce.
On Tuesday June 7, join us for the movie The Intern at 3 p.m.
On Friday, June 10, at noon, learn about Food Safety and Storage from Kathryn Holland, the Family and Consumer Sciences Agent from Colquitt County.
Continuing through June, view the artwork of local artist Jinx Stubbs in our Henry O. Flipper Room.
The Thomas County Public Library System will be closed on Monday, May 30, for Memorial Day. We will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 31.
“We’re Bookin’ It” will meet at the library on Monday, June 13, at 5 p.m. in the Conference Room. Visitors and new members are always welcome. “Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania” by Erik Larson will be discussed.
Come visit our Book Sale Room on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Your donations benefit your library.

Become a member of the Friends of the Library today.! We have forms for 2016 membership available at our front desk. Your participation helps the library with programming, books and other materials added to the library.
