Christina Corinne McMillan became the bride of Caleb Lee Edwards in a ceremony performed at 4 p.m., Dec. 13, 2014, at the historical First Presbyterian Church in Highlands, N.C.
The bride is the daughter of Tommy and Bonnie McMillan of Thomasville and the groom is the son of Jeff and Glenda Edwards of Social Circle.
The Rev. Hace Cargo and the Rev. Emily Wilmarth performed the ceremony.
Music was provided by organist Angie Jenkins and the Lord’s Prayer was performed by vocalist Jonathan Harvey, cousin of the groom.
Matrons of honor were sisters of the bride, Amy Stalvey of Ochlocknee and Keri Hopkins of Cairo.
Bridesmaids were Libby Coram, Logan Petry Ulmer, Kelley Spinks, Rachel Glore, Daryl Chapman, Rachel Nielsen and Sarah Slocum.
They wore dresses designed by Bill Lefkov with a sweetheart bodice in a latte color. They carried bouquets of vendela roses, seeded eucalyptus, mini-green hydrangea, ranunculus and kochia white berries.
Flower girls were Abby and Taylor Stalvey, nieces of the bride.
Best man was the groom’s father.
Groomsmen were Heath Edwards, Noah Oliver, Cameron Macke, Aubrey Breiner, Martin Clark, Davis Clark, David Balkcom and Sam Slocum.
Ushers were groomsmen and bride’s brothers-in-law, Jim Stalvey and Ben Hopkins.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory and English net and lace gown by Allure with a sheer illusion back and sweep train. The waist was accented with a satin belt adorned with crystals.
Her cathedral length veil was trimmed in crystals.
She carried a bouquet of white peonies, white mini calla lilies, hydrangeas, ranunculus and white phlox.
Hosted by the bride’s parents, the reception was held at the Bascom Museum in Highlands.
Dinner was catered by Tim Lundy of Highlands and music was provided by the band, Good Vibrations.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, they reside in Atlanta where the bride works as a senior analyst in inventory planning and replenishment for Home Depot Corporate and the groom is a managing partner at Capital Invoice.
