MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — Prosecutors say a former school principal has pleaded guilty to molesting three boys.
Cobb County District Attorney’s spokeswoman Kim Isaza said in an emailed statement that 58-year-old Jack Hibbs pleaded guilty Monday to four counts of aggravated child molestation, three counts of child molestation, and child exploitation.
Isaza says the molestation took place between 2011 and 2013. Investigators have said some of the sex acts happened at Faith Lutheran Church and School in Marietta, where Hibbs was the longtime principal.
Hibbs apologized to the victims and their families in court. He was sentenced to life in prison and must serve 30 before becoming eligible for parole.
