Blackberry Patch officials say they are honored to be included in Oprah’s Favorite Things — the holiday gift guide published in O magazine featuring Oprah’s favorite products. Oprah chose four flavors of Blackberry Patch Premium Syrups to be included: Pumpkin Spice, Apple Butter, Blueberry, Raspberry and Blackberry.
Blackberry Patch was discovered by Oprah’s team at the New York Fancy Food show; an honor the team attributes to the award winning booth design by Jackie Ellis Johnson Design and product label design by Fontaine Maury. Both businesses are based in Thomasville.
Blackberry Patch Premium syrups are handmade in small batches with cane sugar and the finest ingredients in Thomasville. Kim Lakin and Nina Cooper, who work at Blackberry Patch, like to mix Blackberry Syrup into plain greek yogurt for breakfast. Nina also enjoys adding Pumpkin Spice Syrup to her coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up.
“This recognition is a tribute to our faithful customers, great team of people and our community. Oprah has great taste!” said Harry T Jones.
Blackberry Patch was founded in 1988 and today is owned and operated by Randy Harvey and Jones.
Blackberry Patch creates unique, high quality, handmade fruit and sugar free syrups, toppings and salsas.
Consumers can buy Blackberry Patch products locally in downtown Thomasville or visit blackberrypatch.com.
