“Michael Brown’s death is a tragedy and a debacle that needs resolution. However, I cannot for the life of me understand the mentality of the clannish and provincial behavior of rioting, burglary and larceny that took place in Ferguson, Missouri. Give officials a little time to investigate and administer justice. Those pack transgressions will turn this into another Martin-Zimmerman fiasco!”

“Robin Williams was one funny dude. It’s sad that he was unhappy while making millions of us happy as a comedian and actor.”

“The world is on fire and President Obama is trying to put it out with his golf clubs.”

“Before being elected, Obama said presidents shouldn’t take vacations. That turned out to be another of his many lies.”

“It’s disturbing that a Hollywood death can knock serious news completely off the air waves. At least the newspaper didn’t fall for it.”

“The Atlanta Braves are the worst-hitting pro baseball team I have ever seen. How can B.J. Upton keep his job?”

“Think of all the blood and treasure we have wasted in Iraq. It was better off when Saddam Hussein was in charge. We should have left him alone.”

“I noticed part of Pinetree Boulevard is being repaved. How about going all the way around it? The area around the old high school is in bad, bad shape.”

“I want the SEC Network and my cable company doesn’t have it. It had better get it by Thursday or I’m switching.”
