Cleaver-Brooks recently completed an expansion of its plant in Terrebonne, Quebec, and will break ground to begin a multi-million dollar expansion of its plant in Lincoln, Neb., this fall.
Cleaver-Brooks will be expanding its manufacturing capacity and making equipment and process upgrades in its Lincoln plant to meet current and future demand for its products. The Lincoln plant expansion will accommodate two new cranes to handle a combined capacity of up to 200 tons. The expansion is scheduled for completion in late 2014, and will lead to the creation of new jobs in production, project management and engineering. The company’s Lincoln plant engineers and manufactures industrial watertube boilers to meet the needs of very large manufacturing and industrial facilities throughout the world for the oil sands, petrochemical and heavy process industries, among others. The plant also manufactures a broad line of heat recovery systems.
In Terrebonne, Cleaver-Brooks recently added a new high-bay hall to accommodate the growing demand for large, free-standing stacks, while also enabling a redesign of the facility’s layout to optimize manufacturing process flow and expand manufacturing capacity. The Terrebonne facility engineers and manufactures the company’s full line of exhaust solutions products and Natcom industrial burners.
“By making substantial investments in these two plants, we ensure that the quality of the products we manufacture continues to be unmatched in the industry,” said Welch Goggins, president and CEO of Cleaver-Brooks. “In addition, we foresee substantial growth in the markets these products support, and our plant expansions and equipment upgrades will aptly meet this demand.”
