Thomas County Central has been here before.

After winning the Region 1-AAAAA championship last season, the Yellow Jackets began the GHSA softball playoffs at home. Now Central, the No. 2 seed from Region 1, is hoping to learn from that experience to extend its stay.

One aspect that Trammell hopes could aid that relaxed performance is that Central played Ware County earlier this season. Although the Gators won that meeting 5-3, the familiarity could lead to a calm Central squad.
