Archbold Memorial Hospital named D’Nena Stevens the 2012 Employee of the Year during the organization’s annual employee appreciation spring picnic held Wednesday, May 8, on the hospital’s lawn.

 Stevens has worked for Archbold for 20 years, the last nine of which she’s worked as a certified respiratory therapist.

 “I love working for Archbold because of the opportunities for advancement,” said Stevens who started her career at Archbold as a unit secretary. “In addition, working at Archbold is rewarding. I love taking care of our patients, and I’m dedicated to doing my best every day to help them get better.”

 Each year, a committee comprised of senior managers, managers and long time Archbold staff members selects the Employee of the Year. Employees who were named

 Employee of the Quarter throughout the year are eligible to win the Employee of the Year award.

 “D’Nena exhibits everything we look for in an Archbold employee,” said Perry Mustian, Archbold president and CEO. “She’s been described as dedicated, reliable and dependable and goes out of her way to make sure our patients are well cared for. We are proud to honor D’Nena as Employee of the Year.”
