The exhibit title, “South Georgia, North Florida Reflections,” is exceedingly appropriate as the work is more than just simple realistic representation of the area’s lovely landscape.  These paintings express the reactions of four very different artists as they reflect on their visually stimulating surroundings.  The excitement captured within these images is the result of each artist’s sheer joy found in painting, sensitivity to subject matter, and profound creativity.

Nancy Banks lives in Tallahassee and is a member of the Watercolor Society.
