“Government should keep its activities confined to the Constitution and not go dabbling in privatization. Thanks to Obama’s program, the nation’s now $535 million deeper in debt thanks to the failure of Solyndra.”

“The lonely senior citizen widow should get involved in church as most of them have activities for seniors. She should volunteer in the community. Helping others helps alleviate loneliness.”

“Pastor Glenn Scoggin has an excellent article in the paper. The left is determined to make Christianity a second- or third-rate religion. Then, he later mentions Hitler. He was head of the National Socialist German Workers Party — or Nazi Party for short. We thought we had defeated it in World War II. Maybe it has transplanted itself to this nation.”

“Why did the Times-Enterprise think that a dog’s death rated front-page news. Come on! It was a dog and it wasn’t in the line of duty. When my cat dies, can we have a big picture on the front page, too?”
