Spence Cadillac-Buick-GMC and Roy Campbell Chevrolet consolidated, effective April 28, to become Spence Chevrolet-Buick-GMC-Cadillac.
“We will incorporate into the former Roy Campbell facility,” said Al Park, president and chairman of the board of the new company. Park also was president of the former Spence dealership.
Spence will move from 15283 U.S. 19 South to the former Chevrolet dealership, 11646 U.S. 319 North, as soon as possible. More room for inventory will be available at the new location, Park explained.
The 19,000-square-foot former Roy Campbell housing is on a 6.6-acre tract.
James Sumner, general manager at the former Spence dealership, is general manager, a vice president and a stockholder in the new company. Other vice presidents and stockholders are Rocky Spence and Peter Wolsfelt, both Spence employees.
Campbell, board vice chairman and a stockholder, said he will continue to help customers and employees as he has in the past.
