“It’s amazing how President Obama said the oil spill will affect the Southern states’ economies, and the next day the gas prices go up 11 cents. I find that very peculiar.”

“To the person who thinks Sanford Bishop has done a great job: Things have been getting worse all the time. We need change. All of a sudden he’s getting out in each county trying to check out things. You can tell November is coming up, but you could not find him four or five months ago. Yeah, he’s doing a great job.”
“Congratulations and thanks to the Thomasville Fire Department for its hard work and dedication to citizens on receiving the ISO rating of 2. Good work, guys.”
“California threatens to suspend five students because they wore a shirt with the American flag because the school was celebrating Cinco de Mayo. So we cant celebrate a U.S. holiday like Christmas in school but it’s OK for a Mexican holiday?”
“I also want to thank President Obama. Thank you for raising unemployment above 10 percent; thank you for health care reform that will raise costs and end up with rationed care; thank you for higher taxes that are on the way; and thank you for putting America down and bowing to those who hate this country. I could go on, but enough said.”
“What kind of journalistic enterprise prints an editorial as the top story? If you insist on embarrassing educated Christians with your erroneous opinions, please confine it to the editorial page. You are the reason the ‘Christian right’ is a political joke.”
“Thomasville is the last region team in the soccer playoffs. Go Dawgs!”

deserved!”
“To the person who said they would ‘certainly vote for Sanford Bishop,’ don’t forget to stop by and pick up your entitlements on the way to the polls.”
“The Tea Party movement is wrong about government. If it wasn’t for police officers, federal officers and so on, we wouldn’t have caught the person who planted a bomb in New York.”
“To the Times-Enterprise: As I understand it, your job is to report the news. When and whether or not I pray is between me, God and my pastor. Your help is not needed in this regard.”
“I noticed the other day during my drive home that there aren’t many American flags out. They’ll come out for Memorial Day. Come on, Thomasville people. Let’s fly our flag and show that we are really proud of our service people. The wars are not over yet, and we need to let them know when they get home that we are proud they are fighting for our flag.”
