He was a member of Christ Community Church in Cumming. He began attending Christ Community Church soon after its inception in 1998. He was an integral part of the church and served in many capacities. Although every ministry was important to him, his passion and heart lay in the Men’s Ministry, of which he was director. In this outreach he headed up such functions as the yearly Men’s Retreat, their monthly prayer breakfasts and spear headed other outreaches to those in need. He loved to worship the Lord and his heart for worship made him an invaluable part of the Music Ministry. He often performed as a soloist for the Worship Team, as well as the choir and ensemble groups. Eric was a man of integrity who never hesitated to reach out to those in need and was always ready to speak of the joy in his heart. He loved sharing Christ with everyone around him.
